Senior Job Captain, Retail Architecture & Design

Overview

Lead design coordination and documentation for retail projects, supporting construction.

Tasks

-Assist the Project Manager with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.). -Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of project schedules, and review of budgets. -Utilize the company’s resource groups for design, preparation of design and construction documents. -Perform project code searches and analysis for each project. -Provide assistance for submittals for jurisdiction agencies. -Provide AutoCAD/Revit support for the preparation of project documents. -Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members. -Lead the project coordination with the consultant team for each phase of the project (typical; Site Planning, Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Document and Construction phase services) to deliver a set of contract documents that will be used for permits and construction.

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience in the field of Architecture -Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents -Knowledge of building codes -Experience working on retail projects strongly preferred -Revit skills -Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is preferred; however, equivalent related experience will also be considered
