Tasks

-Assist with financial tracking, cost control, and profitability. -Prepare tender documents and analyze bids. -Help avoid or resolve project disputes. -Track and assess changes in design or scope and calculate cost/time impacts. -Monitor project progress and help resolve delays or issues. -Support contract review, negotiation, and compliance. -Manage procurement processes, including trade negotiations and compliance with ethical guidelines. -Draft reports such as cost breakdowns, monthly updates, and feasibility studies. -Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and budgets. -Analyze drawings, specs, and bids from subcontractors. -Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

What You Bring

We are looking for an experienced Junior Estimator to join our team. This person will be responsible for preparing accurate construction cost estimates, managing procurement, and supporting project execution from preconstruction through completion. -Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. -Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor, and methods. -Experience working bespoke projects such as high-end residential or similar. -Comfortable working with multiple project teams and stakeholders. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. -Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.). -Understanding of local and federal procurement and construction laws. -Experience in managing procurement and contracts. -Experience with high-end or complex construction projects is a plus. -Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. -1-2 years of experience in construction estimating or quantity surveying.
