Tasks

-Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. -Support procurement documentation, construction packages, and field verification/commissioning. -Perform voltage drop, load flow, fault current, arc flash, conduit/tray fill, and protective device coordination calculations. -Review vendor drawings and support interdisciplinary design integration. -Develop conceptual layouts, preliminary designs, and cost studies for electrical systems. -Work on projects involving turbine generation, including wind, gas, steam, and other types of turbines, covering design, integration, and operational considerations.

What You Bring

-Experience with 13.8 kV and 34.5 kV electrical systems. -Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D desirable), Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office. -Minimum 7 years of industrial or EPC electrical engineering experience. -Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and with virtual teams. -Size substations, motor control centers (MCCs), and other electrical equipment. -Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering. PE license desired. -Strong knowledge of NEC and applicable industry standards. -Experience with ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower is a plus.
