Field Coordinator

Overview

Assist superintendents in supervising crews, subcontractors, scheduling and reporting.

Tasks

-Manage various scopes of subcontractor work. -Schedule material deliveries and manage material, equipment and personnel. -Submit field reports, track time on task, track onsite material inventory and deliveries with Superintendent. -Accurately records and tracks time and quantities completed daily. -Documentation of work performed. -Provide direct in field supervision of production crews.

What You Bring

-Basic knowledge of means and methods of construction scopes -Excellent time management and organizational skills -Able to contribute to daily and weekly safety meetings and audits -Self-motivated with the ability to working productively without constant supervision -Experience reading blueprints/plans -Ability to lead self-perform crew -Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships -Ability to manage multiple operations -Four-year degree in construction, engineering or related field or equivalent construction experience -Understanding and working knowledge of the Vaughn safety plan -Ability to plan scopes of work 2-3 weeks out -Experience with large excavation equipment including dozers, track hoes, tractors, scrapers etc. -Ability to maintain flexibility and work with frequent interruptions and multiple changing priorities -Excellent problem solving and critical thinking ability -Proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
