Consult on fire safety, design, modeling and compliance for building projects
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Assist with development of fire alarm, detection, and fire suppression systems design documents -Assist with the development of fire safety strategies for special hazards -Contribute to the development of prescriptive and performance-based design strategies. -Participate in internal team meetings and external client meetings -Assist with the development of structural fire calculations -Assist senior engineers on project site visits and communicate with architects, contractors and consulting teams -Assist with dynamic egress modeling -Perform smoke control analysis -Provide consulting for life safety, building, and fire code compliance -Assist senior engineers to help clients to incorporate fire and life safety strategy concepts into the design and review drawings for conformance with the agreed strategy -Assist with fire modeling
