Tasks

-Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with customers as needed to ensure timely payment. -Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated billing inquiries, both internally and externally. -Review, prepare, and submit billing packages in compliance with customer contracts and company policies. -Support audits and internal reviews with proper documentation and compliance reporting. -Partner with Project Managers, Accounting, and Operations to resolve discrepancies or questions related to invoices, contracts, or payment terms. -Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy in billing operations. -Maintain accurate billing records, reports, and documentation. -Train and mentor billing staff, providing guidance on best practices and company standards. -Lead day-to-day billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for projects.

What You Bring

-Strong leadership and mentoring skills. -Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred. -Strong knowledge of billing practices, financial documentation, and contract compliance. -High degree of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive financial information. -Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred. -Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for working with cross-functional teams and clients. -Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. -3–5+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or finance.
