Overview

Assist principal with residential design from concept to construction; remote, occasional on‑site.

Tasks

-Produce detailed drawings, renderings and presentations. -Work directly with the Principal to support the design and documentation of residential designs from concept through construction. -Measure and draft Existing Conditions drawings. -Conduct project feasibility research and zoning reviews. -Support on project photoshoots, marketing, research and development for the firm.

What You Bring

-Strong design and graphic communication skills. -At least 1-5 years of relevant experience in custom residential design. Experience with detailed interior design is a plus. -Interest and skills in innovative materials, fabrication, and sustainability are preferred but not required. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino. -Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and construction methods. -Portfolio (PDF under 10mb) including professional work -Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch). -Experience with 3D modeling/rendering tools (Enscape, V-Ray, etc.). -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. -Exposure to all phases of design and construction. -Excellent organizational and time management skills.
