Overview

Design electrical systems for oil & gas projects from concept through detail phases.

Tasks

-Support field execution and construction activities as needed, including site visits when required and as-built documentation. -Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients. -Ensure high-quality, safe, and timely delivery of Electrical design and related deliverables in accordance with project requirements, international codes, and standards. -Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards and project specifications. -Independently developing complex Electrical designs, equipment layouts, plot plans, and general arrangement drawings. They utilize advanced 3D modeling software like PDMS, E3D, SP3D, or AutoCAD to create detailed models and drawings -Review and provide comments on vendor drawings to ensure compatibility with the overall design. -Independently perform the Electrical design scope drawings for Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering phases. -Ensure engineering integrity, quality assurance and document control for all Electrical related deliverables. -Execute Electrical design activities within Concept, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detail Engineering for Oil & Gas projects. -Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, toolbox talks, and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring

-Previous ADNOC EPC experience, familiarity with ADNOC procedures & requirement is highly preferred. -Highly capable and efficient in preparing (hands-on) all onshore Electrical engineering drawings independently and simultaneously working on multiple projects. Owns assigned tasks with high degree of responsibility. Flexibility & adaptability to maneuver dynamic and evolving project environment. -Proficient in relevant codes and standards -Strong knowledge of drafting standards and industry applicable norms. -Communication: clear and concise communication with internal teams and clients; effective technical writing and presentation skills. -Problem Solving: strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. -Relevant 2D and 3D software proficiency (PDMS, E3D, SP3D, or AutoCAD Plant 3D) -Diploma in Electrical -Experience in Layout, schedules and other electrical deliverables. -15+ years of experience and proven track record in delivering onshore and Offshore Electrical deliverables in Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering and EPCM experience in the Oil & Gas industry. -Experience with 3D design and visualization tools and 2D drafting. -Adaptability: comfortable operating in dynamic project environments and across multiple projects.
