Tasks

-Train modellers to understand engineering constraints and opportunities to ensure realistic model outputs. -Review technical work including model build (1D–2D), model verification, evaluation, feasibility, optioneering, and outline design of solutions. -Manage project teams and client relationships, clarifying expectations and outcome measures to meet requirements and deliver successful projects. -Liaise with clients on a daily basis and build strong internal/external client relationships through value addition. -Supervise modellers in integrating hydraulic modelling (1D–2D) with engineering aspects of the project. -Take accountability for high-standard deliverables by applying various review methods and documentation practices. -Influence delivery teams to adopt smarter methods by developing automation tools while maintaining high quality. -Support team and business development through recruitment, staff development, and winning new work in new regions.

What You Bring

-Strong, self-motivated, and assertive individual capable of working and managing under pressure. -Excellent communication and writing skills. -Preferably fully chartered or close to undergoing the chartership interview with a recognized institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM). -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Geography. -12+ years of experience in hydraulic design or modelling. -Flexible and adaptable to new or challenging work as per business requirements. -In-depth knowledge or experience with tools such as InfoWorks ICM, MapInfo, QGIS, SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS, MicroDrainage, or similar.
