Tasks

The Assistant Manager – Procurement will support and manage the end-to-end procurement process for hard services, ensuring timely sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and compliance with organizational policies. The role requires hands-on experience in RFQs, tendering, system implementation, and working knowledge of procurement ERPs such as SAP, GEP, JD Edwards, and MIS. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, service providers, and suppliers to drive efficiency, quality, and cost optimization. -Ensure timely project and site mobilization through effective coordination with operations and engineering teams. -Oversee the procurement documentation process—Purchase Orders (POs), Service Agreements, Contract Renewals, and Variation Orders. -Maintain and update procurement records and dashboards, and ensure accurate reporting through MIS tools. -Manage procurement activities related to Hard Services, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, civil, and maintenance-related materials and service contracts. -Support strategic sourcing initiatives and drive cost reduction without compromising quality or contractual requirements. -Manage vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and performance metrics. -Ensure procurement operations comply with company policies, audit requirements, and governance frameworks. -Prepare, float, and evaluate RFQs (Request for Quotation), including bid comparison, cost analysis, and recommendation reports. -Contribute to and support Procurement System Implementation or process improvement initiatives across the organization. -Assist in negotiating terms, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers and contractors.

What You Bring

-Experience in system implementation or procurement digitization projects is highly preferred. -Strong understanding of Hard Services procurement in Facilities Management, Construction, or Engineering sectors. -JD Edwards -Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously. -Hands-on experience working with ERP & procurement platforms such as: -Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management capabilities -Strong analytical, commercial, and cost analysis skills. -Proven ability to manage RFQ processes, vendor sourcing, bid evaluation, and negotiation.
