The Role
Overview
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems for water plant operations.

Tasks
-Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution -Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all tools and equipment as needed. -Complies with company safety and quality policies and code of conduct. -Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drives, and auxiliary equipment. -Interface and communicate with customers and suppliers as required. -Duties include installing, inspecting, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic equipment. Along with completing all appropriate documentation associated with the duties. -Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. -Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns. -Weekly or daily travel to operating sites. -Mentor and train employees when the opportunity presents itself. -Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties. -Stay up to date on Operations Qualifications and required training.

What You Bring
-Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not -Must live within an hour of Dallas. -Knowledge of Allen Bradley hardware and software preferred, but also Rockwell Automation.. -Must be able to respond to, and address, callouts and emergencies (within 1 hour) during and after regular business hours. -Experience with 120V, 240V, or 480V wiring. -Experience working with water treatment equipment is a plus. -Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers. -Knowledge of Google applications. -Proficient computer skills (knowledge of Google applications, operating systems, company software). -Must be able to work from elevated platforms, excavated areas, ladders, stairwells, walkways, etc -Ability to work with a team and coordinate work schedules. -Experience replacing pumps. -Proficient with electronic test instruments and measurement devices. -Knowledge of simple programming and PLC software preferred. -Demonstrates a high attention to details and able to follow work processes, standards, and requirements. -Knowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams. -Familiarity with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), breakers, and conduit installation.
