Construction Superintendent

Overview

Oversee field personnel, safety, schedule, and quality to complete projects on time and budget.

Tasks

-Monitor jobsite safety and take appropriate action to address and correct safety deficiencies. -Plan and coordinate all phases of the project with Project and Operations Managers. -Inspect, approve, and report all labor time. -Conduct weekly "Toolbox Talks" and maintain all associated reports. -Routinely inspect the construction site and work progress to maintain compliance with contract specifications along with company quality and safety standards. -Train field personnel in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures and company policies. -Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of field personnel and subcontractors. -Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations including safety, health, and welfare. -Investigate and report any accident or incident to Risk Management, Corporate Safety Director, and Project Manager. -Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and machinery are properly maintained. Arrange for repairs/replacements, as necessary. -Determine field personnel needs and assign work based on the project. -Create and accurately maintain cost/labor reports, maintain field P.O.'s and rental logs.

-10 years of field construction experience -Comfortable at the table with all levels of leadership -Minimum of 5 years' experience in superintendent role -Proactive Problem Solver with outstanding interpersonal skills -Osha 30 certification preferred. -Knowledgeable of Construction methods -Organized and systematic
