-Engage suppliers and subcontractors during project development and execution, ensuring transparency and value for money. -Negotiate supplier and subcontractor agreements, driving commercial and schedule performance. -Lead and support procurement strategies, sourcing and contracting activities in line with Downer and client frameworks. -Integrate ESG, sustainability, and supplier diversity initiatives into procurement planning. -Collaborate with regional procurement hubs to optimise sourcing outcomes and leverage Downer’s buying power.
-Experience in bids and tenders -Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. -Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. -5+ years’ experience in procurement within utilities, infrastructure, or resources (water industry experience desirable). -Relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, commerce, engineering or a related discipline (CIPS accreditation preferred).
