Tasks
-Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships and follow up on customer concerns -Meet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business -Prepare reports of pipeline, sales activity and business plans -Identify and implement tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (e.g. energy rebates, estimated payoffs, ROI) -Perform tests and conducts surveys on competitive products in order to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products -Work with multiple vendors/contractors to deliver complex, highly customizable products/solutions to clients -Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information or any other lead generation source -Plan, organize, and guide projects through to completion; involves internal and external subject matter experts as needed -Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations. Verifies and quotes prices, credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained -Work in assigned territory, partnering closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the Parts team and Technicians

-Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software -Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record -The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth -Ability to travel territory daily -2+ years of related sales experience -Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, communications, or related field -Commercial HVAC sales experience -Demonstrated ability to influence the market -Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts -Bachelors Degree or High School Diploma/equivalent with additional years of related work experience
