Overview

Provides specialized hazardous waste transport, disposal, and remediation services.

Tasks

-Sample waste streams according to prescribed policies and procedures. -Operate and maintain all equipment in a professional manner to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness. -Maintain a professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing/potential problems. -Manifesting, packaging, spill clean-up response, remedial activities, utility project work, labeling, loading, off loading, and coordinating transportation. -Comply and enforce all compliance, health, safety, and procedures in accordance with VES-TS policies.

What You Bring

-Valid Driver's License -Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines -High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required -Computer proficiency -Become familiar with all U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT)/Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and VES-TS regulations required in submitting paperwork to expedite disposal of hazardous waste. -Ability to follow through on assignments. -Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science discipline preferred -40-hour HAZWOPER Certification -OSHA 10 certification -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -Strong customer service orientation -Ability to obtain a Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Hazardous (H) endorsement
