Tasks

The Roads & Transportation Engineer will oversee the design and implementation of road networks and utility systems, including the integration and relocation of underground and overhead utilities (water, drainage, electricity, telecommunications, and gas). The role requires strong technical and project management skills to ensure seamless coordination between design, construction, and regulatory teams. -Support tendering, estimation, and planning teams with technical inputs and quantity verifications. -Ensure compliance with local and international engineering codes, regulations, and best practices. -Coordinate the integration and relocation of utility networks within road construction projects. -Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and utility authorities to resolve technical and site-related issues. -Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and utility layouts for accuracy and feasibility. -Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and project documentation. -Monitor site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, standards, and safety requirements. -Plan, design, and manage the construction of roads, highways, and related infrastructure projects.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. -Excellent understanding of utility systems design and coordination. -Analytical thinking and attention to detail. -Minimum 5 years of experience in road works, utilities coordination, or infrastructure projects. -Strong technical knowledge of road construction, materials, and design standards. -Strong organizational and project management abilities. -Proven experience in highway and transportation engineering. -Effective communication and teamwork skills. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related engineering software. -Professional Engineering License or equivalent certification preferred.
