Drive solid waste from transfer stations to landfills across MI routes daily

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Document and log driving/break periods in Kilometers on Daily Trip Report and E-logs in accordance with DOT & MTO Regulations -Retain copies of fuel, and border toll receipts, as well as pick-up and delivery tickets to complete daily paperwork -Transport solid waste from the transfer stations to various Landfills -Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation of vehicles, carriage of goods, Hours of Service, occupational health and safety, customs and immigration, weights and dimensions -Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, equipment damage and property damage when applicable -Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues to ensure safe operation and public safety

-Waste Hauling experience will be viewed with priority -Top-notch backing skills a must -Great attitude and work ethic -Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations -Ability to provide a clean Driver’s Abstract, CVOR Abstract, and criminal check -Dedicated and strong work ethic -Valid AZ License -Experienced E-log fleet -Heavy hauling experience is considered an asset -Must be able to cross US border in a CMV daily -Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations -Late model tractors and trailers -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment -3+ years of related AZ driving experience
