Senior Virtual Design Coordinator

Tasks

-Strategize with the project manager to determine model setup configuration and understand project scope requirements; -Identify and lead team specific training and education needs for standards and BIM/Virtual Design tools; -Provide team specific support for Virtual Design software/programs, escalating as needed; -Work to standardize workflows and practices between offices and teams including coordinating models and workflow between members of the design. -Be an active participant in Virtual Design workflow development; -Participate in beta testing of IMEG tools and procedures; -Attend project meetings with clients and consultants, including BIM project kickoff meetings; -Review working models and PDF deliverables for compliance with modeling and documentation standards; -Develop IMEG specific content; -Manage project folder organization, file sharing, and file archival between IMEG disciplines and all external partners; -Complete model maintenance as necessary applying best practices and standards; -Follow established standards for modeling and production of drawings and are of quality acceptable to the company;

What You Bring

-Revit experience required; -8 years of experience minimum, 10 preferred, or equivalent; -Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues independently; -Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and models preferred; -Strong Revit knowledge with emphasis on project setup and model management; -Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook; -Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients; -Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred; -This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
