Tasks

-Safely escorting vehicles to where they need to be -Keeping accurate records and documentation of traffic control activities, including daily logs -Directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and workers -Signing off muck-away, plant deliveries etc

If you would like further details on how to transfer your card from the traditional scheme to the CSCS scheme, please click How to achieve an NPORS CSCS Operator Card - NPORS -Reliable & punctual -Able to communicate effectively with site team -Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time -Confident interacting with members of the public, including motorists, pedestrians, and local residents, to provide information, directions, or assistance as needed, while maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times -Able to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations, accidents, or incidents within the work zone, such as providing first aid -Proficient in setting up and maintaining traffic control equipment such as cones, barricades, signs, and temporary traffic lights to guide traffic safely through the work zone and minimize disruptions to traffic flow -Strict PPE adherence, including wearing high-visibility clothing, helmets, boots gloves etc. -Right to work in the UK -Gateman or Storeman experience -First Aid at Work
