Manage subcontract procurement, negotiations, and administration for corporate supply chain

Tasks

-Serving as liaison between subcontractor and project manager -Issuing requests for information (RFIs) -Issuing requests for proposals (RFPs) -Issuing properly authorized awards/subcontracts -Handling cradle to grave subcontract management (pre-award to file closeout) -Negotiating subcontracts -Preparing subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flow down requirements from the prime contract -Performing commercial evaluations of proposals -Resolving subcontractor claims in a timely manner

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree and at least one (2) years of directly related subcontracts experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered -Federal Government contracts/subcontracts experience. -Bachelors degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or closely related fields -Experience with Deltek (CostPoint) -Qualifying subcontractors -Two (2)+ years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. -Experience with commercial and/or defense contracts/subcontracts highly desired -Proficiency with MS office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
