Overview

Prepare survey plats/maps, manage data, CAD files, and field work for VDOT, USACE, NAVFAC.

Tasks

-Meet the requirements of various agencies such as VDOT, USACE, and NAVFAC. -Perform construction staking calculations. -Manage individual projects and conduct courthouse research. -Process data collected by survey crews and prepare CAD files. -Participate in occasional field work. -Prepare survey plats and maps, including boundary, as-built, topographic, and utility route surveys.

What You Bring

-Proficient in using Carlson and AutoCAD Civil 3D. -Ability to work with minimal supervision to complete projects with demanding scopes and schedules. -Satisfactory completion of a Survey/CAD related degree from an accredited institution, which may substitute for two years of required experience. -Minimum of 5 years of surveying-related experience. -Experience using or exposure to MicroStation with GeoPak and/or OpenRoads.
