Tasks

-Develop Electrical Initial Energization Procedures (Switchyard, Back-feed, Switchgears, Initial Synch, etc.) -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Assist with Design Review for Power, Power Delivery, and Renewable Projects -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Attend Factory Acceptance Tests for Electrical Equipment (MV, LV Switchgears, Transformers, Relay Panels, etc.) -Work with projects start-up team with onsite activities such as the following if needed -Travel to project site for short duration as needed to carry out audit, review energization plan, and assist with major energization evolution if needed

What You Bring

-MV & LV Switchgears and MCCs -CTs, PTs, CVTs, and one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, control & protection schematics -220KV, 345KV Breakers -Familiarity with component testing and commissioning aspects of following major electrical equipment & protection scheme will be an added advantage: -Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited Engineering Institute. -Regular, reliable attendance -0-2 years of experience as a commissioning engineer or related position preferably including: -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -3.0 cumulative GPA preferred. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely
