Tasks

-Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs, and safety standards. -Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions. -Monitor freight spend, carrier performance, and route optimization. -Serve as the logistics subject matter expert in cross-functional discussions. -Lead 3PL teams supporting forward stocking locations. -Design and manage a forward stocking/final mile logistics network to support same-day delivery and technician order consolidation. -Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with global supply chain objectives and customer needs. -Manage 3PL/4PL relationships and ensure performance against SLAs and KPIs. -Analyze logistics data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. -Lead initiatives across logistics, planning, IT, finance, service, real estate, and external partners to improve delivery performance and reduce costs. -Partner with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. -Leverage TMS, WMS, and ERP systems to enhance visibility and control. -Drive automation and digital transformation across logistics operations. -Determine operational activities across JCI warehouse branches, stocking locations, and central distribution centers. -Present performance metrics and strategic insights to senior leadership. -Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

-Expertise in final mile and central distribution center logistics. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. -Experience in industrial, automotive, or tech logistics environments. -Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). -Proficiency in logistics systems (TMS, WMS, ERP) and data analytics tools. -Lean Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement certification. -Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and international trade. -8+ years of progressive logistics experience, including global operations and final mile delivery. -Proven leadership in managing teams and large-scale logistics networks.
