Overview

Operate and maintain asphalt plant equipment, mix asphalt and support production.

Tasks

-Inspections on the Plant and acting on defects and implement remedial action -Ensuring Plant always conforms with safety requirements -Following Health, Safety and Environmental and Quality policies and procedures -Assisting the Manager with meeting daily/weekly production targets -Working with other members of the team to ensure that customers get good quality material and on-time deliveries -Mixing asphalt to specification -Ensuring that Plant availability is maximised -Assisting in the maintenance regime of the Plant -Working to keep housekeeping around site to a high standard

Requirements

• shovel licence
• it literate
• plant knowledge
• driving licence
• mobile plant
• communication

What You Bring

-Loading shovel (mobile Plant) -IT Literate -Knowledge of Plant -Confidence to bring problems to the attention of Line Management -Good timekeeping (flexible as to the Units requirements) -Shovel Licence (desirable) -Previous experience in mobile Plant operations -Full UK Driving Licence -Good communication skills
