Overview

Perform lab tests on soil and concrete, record data, and maintain equipment.

Tasks

-Prep and test concrete cylinders, cores, and masonry for compressive strength. -Conduct lab tests on construction materials, including: -Break cylinders, prisms, and cubes of concrete and masonry to evaluate performance. -Maintain and calibrate lab and field equipment. -Perform calculations and assist with data checks under the supervision of the Lab Supervisor. -Learn and apply ASTM, AASHTO, and other industry-standard test procedures. -Perform data entry, record keeping, and test reporting with accuracy.
