Tasks

-Enforce company safety policies and exercise emergency authority to stop unsafe acts when necessary. -Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures. -Support continuous improvement in the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance. -Identify, assess, and mitigate potential safety hazards in the workplace. -Train and advise employees on the proper use of safety equipment and procedures. -Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor adherence to safety standards. -Prepare and maintain Site Safety and Health Plans and ensure integration into daily operations. -Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging and mentoring staff at all levels. -Develop and implement procedures and safety programs to prevent illness, injury, and property damage. -Coordinate with regulatory bodies such as OSHA and local authorities to ensure compliance.

What You Bring

We are seeking, for one of our subsidiaries, a qualified Safety Engineer to ensure compliance with safety regulations, minimize workplace hazards, and promote a safe and healthy working environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential risks, developing preventive measures, and leading safety programs across operational sites. -Bachelor’s or Diploma in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics preferred). -Ability to enforce safety regulations effectively and maintain a positive safety culture. -4–6 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) management systems. -Strong knowledge of local HSE laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia. -Excellent communication, auditing, and training skills. -Self-motivated with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. -Certified OHSAS 18001 Auditor (or ISO 45001 equivalent). -Proficient in ISO safety procedures and risk management frameworks.
