Tasks

-Assist and manage Legal and Compliance’s vendors, especially external IP service providers, as well as handling the purchase requisition, ordering and payment processes. -Assist in maintaining the budget and spending tracker of the Legal and Compliance team. -Assist and support in corporate secretarial matters, including preparation of documents, coordination of signing / notarization / certification actions, etc. -Provide general support on administrative matters and assist in ad-hoc tasks as may be assigned from time to time, including facilitation of post-contract processes such as contract execution and archival. -Assist in the organization of key Legal & Compliance documents, such as internal policies. -Assist in the management of Univers’ intellectual property (IP) portfolio (patents, trademarks and design rights).

Univers is looking for a talented, organized, self-motivated and result-oriented Junior Paralegal / Paralegal to join our Legal & Compliance team. The role will be based in Singapore and reports to the Assistant Director, Legal. -Adept at MS Office, MS Power Platform and other related applications. Competency in DocuSign is a plus. -2-5 years working experience as a paralegal, legal secretary or IP executive. -Good verbal and written communication skills. -Candidate must be meticulous, sharp, analytical, resourceful and willing to learn. -In-house legal or law firm experience is preferred. -Diploma/Degree in legal or IP-related studies.
