2nd Shift Manufacturing Operator - Urgent Need - Weekly Pay

Overview

Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, handle material batches, QC, and forklift tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Performs daily housekeeping/cleaning of immediate area and other surrounding areas and departments, as needed. -Makes raw material batches in the appropriate mixer(s), according to specifications. -Communicates with Team Lead and/or Supervisor during shift changes and throughout shift. -Performs quality control tests on the batches, per established guidelines. -Operates forklift to move raw materials, load carrier, and move finished product. -Monitors weight, speed, and other metrics along the line. -Fills appropriate-sized pails, drums, or totes, labels filled items, and places pails/drums on pallet. -Ensures proper labels are being used on the taping machine. -Performs work safely, according to safety rules and guidelines, and follows Tremco’s Escalation Policy for any safety or quality concerns.

What You Bring

-No prior education or experience required. -Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or similar industry experience preferred. -Basic knowledge of mathematics-i.e., addition, subtraction, fractions, etc. -Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions. -Forklift Certificate and operations experience preferred. -Understands and operates the HMI at the various stations along the line to keep the line operating safely and efficiently. -Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.
