The Role

Overview

Design, develop, and support electrical systems, PLCs, RF, and cable assemblies.

Tasks

-Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components and by soliciting observations from operators. -Development of high-frequency (RF)systems and handling issues/defects after mass production. -Review and execute engineering document changes ensuring compliance with standard procedures. Escalation support for different tools (Troubleshooting the errors occurring in electrical modules/tool and providing instant solution to them). -Supporting the design and development of transport system materials, and tasks related to wire harness design and other project related support. -Design of unit wiring, arrangement, assembly, modification work, handling measuring instruments. -Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations. -Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. -BoM and Engineering Change Management. -Design or modify electrical engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics, and detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general and minimal supervision. -Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods and testing finished products and system capabilities. -Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements and researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. -Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests. -Supports New product documentation by OMS Creation for NPI/CIP Builds.

What You Bring

-Experience with Auto CAD (wiring design) / 3D CAD, Siemens S7 1200 PLC, OrCAD, Microsoft Visio, Creo, Zuken. -PC skills (Excel: functions, PowerPoint: document creation, email software, etc.) -Basic knowledge of high-frequency (RF) technology -Experience in PLC program validation, download/upload process & real-time ladder logic monitoring. Familiarization of different User Interfaces -Knowledge of electrical systems and components, control system, relays, power supplies. -Circuit design (PCB, power supply system, etc.) -Experience with measuring instruments such as ammeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes and electrical-related evaluations. -8-15 years of experience in electrical engineering design concepts and applications, Components, Schematics, electrical system, Experience in operating machinery (equipment and measuring instruments) -Experience in cable design (component selection, cable diagram creation, configuration creation) and Single Line Diagram -OEM selection. Knowledge of BOM management, Documentation, release process, Reliability testing. Working Knowledge on any Engineering change management -Experience in fellow standards such as CE, SEMI S2, S8, S22 / NFPA 79, UL508A.
