Tasks

The Material Handling Associate is responsible for receiving materials into the ERP system, relocating and storing inventory, and performing quality checks to ensure compliance with standards. This role utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move items between storage areas. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage practices, and inspecting incoming materials for damage or discrepancies. By effectively managing material flow, the Material Handling Associate plays a vital role in supporting production schedules and ensuring timely, high-quality shipments. -Prepare kits and deliver goods as requested by the incoming department. -Process internal parts to their next operation or appropriate storage location. -Route parts to designated locations according to traveler instructions. -Stage large items in their assigned locations. -Ensure all required documentation and certifications are received, reviewed, and properly stored in the ERP system. -Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with 6S standards. -Pack products with care, following customer specifications and internal standards. -Accurately tag and label all parts, verifying quantities and part numbers. -Verify completeness of paperwork, including packing lists and related documents. -Regularly remove debris from the warehouse and dispose of it appropriately. -Participate in cycle counts, ensuring stock adjustments are properly approved and executed in ERP. -Create and maintain bin locations for incoming goods; organize parts accordingly.

The Material Handling Associate must demonstrate manual dexterity, physical strength to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Additional requirements include fine motor skills, visual acuity, spatial awareness, and physical stamina to perform tasks accurately and safely. Proficiency in using hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, etc.) and material handling equipment, along with a strong commitment to safety practices, is essential. -Licenses & Certifications:Valid driver’s license required.Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). -Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. -Minimum of 2 years in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred. -Familiarity with ERP systems preferred. -Time Management & Organization: Skilled at prioritizing and executing multiple tasks with minimal supervision. -Clean driving record required -Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). -Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). -Technical Proficiency:Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).Familiarity with ERP systems preferred. -Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. -High school diploma or equivalent required. -Valid driver’s license required.

The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $18 - $24 per hour. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
