Resident Architect (Jurong)

Overview

Lead on‑site architectural supervision for Jurong project, managing design, contractors and team.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Review all project drawings and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or possible problems before construction work commence on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project; -Monitor contractors’ schedules, day works, site progress, etc -Overall in charge of the management and control of all Site Supervisors, -Provide leadership and administrative control of the other Site Supervisors, institute and maintain discipline, punctuality, keep daily records -Check shop and construction drawings, samples, etc. submitted by contractors and their sub-contractors / suppliers / vendors and to report any discrepancies between these and the project drawings and specifications.

What You Bring

-Degree in Architecture or accreditation with Professional bodies of equivalent standing as Board of Architects, Singapore; and -Strong technical skills, able to review design details, method statements and use sound judgment to resolve site issues during the course of construction works; -Conversant with local building codes and regulations, authority requirements and practices; -Good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work as a team player; -Possess at least 10 years of working experience and site supervision of building works, architectural elements and finishing works.
