Prepare accurate estimates and bids for commercial roofing projects and manage vendor negotiations.

Tasks
-Conduct roof walks and site verifications to confirm field conditions. -Builds relationships that yield better pricing and faster turnaround. -Collaborate with operations and PMs for smooth project handoff. -Solicit, analyze, and negotiate subcontractor/supplier pricing. -Prepare accurate estimates for projects ranging from $20K to multi-million-dollar bids. -Review drawings, specifications, and perform detailed takeoffs. -Track bids, hit ratios, and maintain historical cost data. -Develop and present competitive proposals with clear scopes, inclusions, and alternates.

What You Bring
-Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and strong on follow-through. -3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience (project management background a plus). -Proficiency in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, The EDGE, or similar tools. -Valid driver’s license; OSHA 10/30 preferred. -Thrives in fast-paced environments where accuracy equals profit. -Solid knowledge of TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, Modified Bitumen, coatings, and sheet metal. -Strong communication, organization, and vendor negotiation skills. -Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
