Tasks
-Support special reports and trend analyses to guide pricing and strategic decisions. -Cultivate strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and design professionals. -Prepare subcontractor bid packages and solicit qualified vendor participation. -Review blueprints, specifications, and proposals to ensure accurate takeoffs and scope alignment. -Resolve design or specification discrepancies through proactive communication and problem-solving. -Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to maintain competitive, up-to-date cost models. -Collaborate with a high-performing team of professionals who value craftsmanship and innovation. -Develop comprehensive cost estimates by analyzing labor, materials, equipment, and project timelines. -Present detailed and well-documented estimates with clear numerical and descriptive data. -Collaborate closely with internal teams on bid strategy, project scheduling, and value engineering. -Produce conceptual, schematic, and design development budgets with precision.

What You Bring
-Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, Trimble, or Conest, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. -6–10 years (+) of commercial electrical construction experience. -Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously. -Familiarity with Sage, BIM/Revit, or CAD platforms preferred. -Underground and land balancing experience is a plus. -Strong ability to read plans, specifications, and perform detailed quantity takeoffs. -Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional and detail-oriented. -Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Texas), or equivalent field experience. -Team-focused, adaptable, and motivated to tackle new challenges in a dynamic environment. -6+ years in estimating or commercial construction management.
