Tasks

-Lead project teams, ensuring smooth execution and resolution of claims and disputes. -Coordinate engineering and inspection services; maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships. -Review schedules, proposals, invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders. -Oversee all work impacting AirTrain operations, ensuring direct coordination with the Existing AirTrain Operator. -Lead constructability reviews, change order negotiations, and independent cost estimates. -Manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality of major rail/transit projects. -Manage contractor access/protection requests and ensure compliance with safety regulations. -Provide oversight on electrical systems integration (MV distribution, GIS, utility interface). -Act as the owner’s representative in project meetings, presentations, and stakeholder coordination.

What You Bring

-Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field (Electrical Engineering strongly preferred). -Proven record on large, complex, lump-sum projects. -Licenses/Certifications: Professional engineering or architectural license, or relevant construction certification, preferred. -15+ years relevant CM experience. -Other: Familiarity with PANYNJ projects and ability to pass background/badging requirements at EWR Airport. -Ability to work independently and proactively manage field conditions. -Excellent communication and negotiation skills. -Must be able to commute to EWR Airport. -Strong electrical experience: medium voltage power distribution systems, gas insulated switchgear (GIS), and PSE&G interface. -Strong background in electrical power systems for transit/rail. -Minimum 15 years of construction management experience.
