Tasks

-Translate system-level requirements into robust, testable Ada code. -Support debugging, optimization, and enhancement of existing Ada-based applications. -Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and design specifications. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and integrate hardware, software, and human interface requirements. -Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using Ada 2022. -Conduct software validation and verification in simulation and hardware-in-the-loop environments. -Ensure software meets safety, security, and performance standards. -Implement efficient algorithms and communication protocols for resource-constrained systems.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of safety standards such as DO-178C or ISO 26262. -Active clearance is preferred -Exposure to model-based engineering tools (e.g., Cameo). -5+ years of experience in embedded software development with a strong focus on Ada. -Experience with C or C++ in addition to Ada. -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field. -Experience with embedded UI development. -Proficiency in embedded debugging tools (e.g., gdb, JTAG, oscilloscopes). -U.S. Citizenship required. -Deep understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded development tools. -Familiarity with secure coding practices and embedded cybersecurity principles. -Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance -Experience with multi-threaded and distributed systems, SoM, BSP, and low-level hardware interfaces. -Proven experience in mission-critical or safety-critical systems (e.g., aerospace, defense, automotive, medical).
