Tasks

-Rebuild replace or repair drill rig parts and ancillary equipment -Oversee shop fabrication and assembly operations -Keep shop, equipment, and tools in safe operating condition -Establish preventative maintenance schedules -Troubleshoot and repair various electrical assemblies -Locate and requisition parts for repairs -Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment -Understand and implement laws and regulations on transportation and safety -Maintain accurate information for payroll reporting -Service trucks and equipment to meet the field requirements -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. -Evaluate and recommend all repairs with cost estimates -Operate equipment and tools involved in shop and field repairs -Assign priority and process repair work orders -Direct and supervise personnel and coordinate shop operations -Oversee completion of all repairs -The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a small hand tools.

What You Bring

-High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent -Forklift, crane and welding certifications a plus. -Minimum 1 year of experience of mechanic experience -Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems -Strong organizations skills -Previous drilling experience and knowledge of water well drilling industry a plus -Must have a valid driver’s license class B driver and any endorsements are a plus. -The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. -Ability to work irregular hours and respond to after hours emergency calls if needed. Some travel may be required. -Ability and willingness to abide by the Company’s Code of Conduct on a daily basis -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. -The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
