Represent Hitachi Energy at events, exhibitions, and seminars.
Identify new business opportunities and manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets and market share growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, industries and channel partners.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations tailored to customer needs.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Collaborate with related teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications and standards (e.g., IEC 61850, DNP3).
Drive sales of Hitachi Energy’s Distribution Automation portfolio, including Distribution Automation solutions, protection relays, RTUs, and communication products.
Provide feedback to product teams on market needs and customer pain points to inform roadmap decisions.
Provide technical support and solution design during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, product management, and service to tailor offerings to customer needs.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.

Experience with utility procurement processes and regulatory frameworks.
Strong focus on understanding customer pain points and tailoring solutions accordingly.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
5–7 years of experience in technical sales within the power distribution or automation sector.
Familiarity with Distribution Automation solutions, protection relays, RTUs and communication products and solutions.
Technical Sales & Solution Selling and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, or related field.
Experience working with EPCs, OEMs, panel builders, Distributors and system integrators.
Strong knowledge of distribution automation solutions, protection and control, and communication protocols.
Proficiency in both spoken & written and English is required.
Understand client requirements for distribution automation and propose suitable solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the energy sector.
Problem-Solving & Negotiation, Strong focus on understanding customer pain points and tailoring solutions accordingly.
