Manage subcontractors and suppliers responsible for mechanical, electrical, and controls systems (gates, SCADA, heating, and power) Define work scope, deliverables, and critical path schedules in alignment with project milestones Provide technical oversight for drawings, specifications, and multidisciplinary coordination Oversee procurement, negotiation, change management, and cost control for assigned work packages Lead planning, construction engineering, and systems integration for aqueducts, inlets, and gate structures Ensure regulatory permits and environmental requirements are satisfied prior to construction activities

Expertise in heavy civil, heavy highway, or water infrastructure construction A major civil infrastructure and flood control program in the Fargo–Moorhead region is seeking an experienced Aqueducts & Inlets Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and successful completion of all work associated with large-scale aqueducts, inlets, and water control structures. This role requires a seasoned professional with technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure seamless integration of hydraulic structures, mechanical systems, and control instrumentation within a complex, multi-phase infrastructure program. 10+ years of leadership experience managing complex hydraulic, mechanical, or water-control infrastructure projects Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering (Construction Management acceptable) Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally >$100M or under P3/alternative delivery models
