Tasks

-Define and enforce data stewardship responsibilities for operational datasets, including ownership, accountability, and approval workflows. -Work with IT and analytics teams to ensure governance is applied across data systems and reporting tools. -Produce operational governance dashboards and metrics to track compliance, adoption, and data quality improvements. -Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure governance policies are applied across data systems, reporting tools, and operational workflows. -Support initiatives to streamline operational data processes and embed governance as part of regular business operations. -Maintain business glossaries, metadata repositories, and data dictionaries to ensure clarity and traceability. -As part of the Data Platform team, this role exists to ensure the organization’s data is accurate, consistent, and trusted. This role focuses on implementing operational data governance practices, maintaining metadata, and supporting compliance within daytoday data operations. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data owners, and governance teams to improve operational visibility and ensure data is reliable for reporting and decisionmaking. -Maintain and manage metadata, business glossaries, and data dictionaries to improve traceability and transparency. -Monitor daytoday data operations to identify and resolve data inconsistencies or errors. -Collaborate with business teams to understand data usage and support data ownership and stewardship processes. -Define and enforce data policies, standards, and stewardship responsibilities across operational datasets. -Implement and maintain operational data governance processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across business units.
