Conduct safety walks for areas of responsibility.
Health & Safety, Safeguarding responsibilities to learners.
Review latest technical and safety bulletins to remain knowledgeable on safety training matters.
Maintain training centre facilities and equipment.
Using experience to help in the design and development of technical and safety training to meet customer requirements.
Completion of accurate course reports and assessments documentation
Interact with technical experts and relevant departments to ensure training is developed to meet necessary standards.
Support the team by carrying out observations to identify and implement improvements.
Support the maintenance of training products, ensuring compliance with internal quality assurance processes.
Assess individuals carrying out practical activities to ensure they meet qualification standards.
Ensure training products meet relevant safety and technical requirements.
Ensure training equipment is maintained, calibrated, and tested as necessary.
Review lesson plans and presentations to ensure sessions are delivered to a high standard.
Deliver quality training in classroom and workshop environments.
Work with the Design and Innovation Team to drive improvements and new products.

Excellent communication and time management / planning skills
Good degree of IT skills and be conversant with Microsoft PowerPoint
Previous training experience, knowledge of coaching of others would be advantageous.
The following are desirable:
NEBOSH certificate / diploma or equivalent safety qualifications
Knowledge of Safeguarding, or working with young adults is desirable but training will be given.
Experience of managing teams or work activities desirable
Extensive relevant experience maintaining Distribution plant and equipment
Sound understanding of the Distribution Safety Rules and associated Policies
Benefits
Depending on experience, you may initially be appointed at a lower salary until all relevant courses and training are complete.
