Overview: This role supports or leads project contracting activities across early planning, FEED, and execution phases. The Contracts Advisor is responsible for contractor qualification, bid strategy, ITT development, commercial negotiations, contract execution, and post-award administration through close-out. -Support contractor selection and award recommendations -Coordinate internal reviews and secure required approvals -Lead contract close-out planning and documentation -Prepare bid slates, tender packages, and evaluate proposals -Develop contracting strategies and detailed Contracting Plans -Monitor invoicing, payment compliance, and contractor performance -Lead or support negotiations and finalize contract documents -Manage contract administration, change control, and subcontracting activities
-Engineering or commercial degree preferred -8+ years of experience in contract engineering, administration, or commercial negotiations -Certifications such as CPM, CPSM, or PMP are an asset -Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites as needed -Strong understanding of project execution and contracting principles
