Tasks

-Develop and follow Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans. -Providing engineering support for architectural clients particularly structural, mechanical, and electrical. -Building and leading a multi-discipline engineering team that supports architectural clients. -Be responsible for time management and product quality. -Actively engaged with architectural clients -Managing projects and providing discipline specific design. -Be responsible for continuing education and learning based on project needs, as well as the overall needs of the team. -Developing regional architectural firms as Garver and Buildings Team clients. -Manage multiple assignments concurrently. -Utilizing CAD and BIM design software to produce construction drawings. -Keep accurate and up-to-date project accounting on all assigned projects.

What You Bring

-5 to 15 years of building design and construction industry experience -Must have strong communication skills -Discipline specific building design experience – structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering design related to buildings. -Must be proficient with MS Office Suite -Experience working directly for architectural clients and managing the engineering aspects of a building design project. -Experience with Autodesk Revit -Experience in client relations and project pursuits. -Registered Professional Engineer (PE) -Knowledge of engineering and sustainability principles. -Knowledge of building components and systems. -Proven experience overseeing designs, including detailed plans and specifications for building projects -Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architectural engineering with a structural, mechanical, or electrical focus from an ABET-accredited university of college. -Technically competent in building system designs
