Lead professional land surveyor overseeing transportation and development projects in NM.

Tasks

-Responsible for retracing and creating property boundaries for roads, pipelines, facility sites, and other right of ways and easements -Apply field techniques related to boundary retracement, design support, and construction surveying support -Collects information needed to carry out new surveys using source maps, previous survey data, photographs, computer records, recorded documents, and other relevant information -Compiles survey computations with applicable standards to determine the adequacy of data -Compiles information necessary to stake projects for construction, using design plans

What You Bring

-State Professional Land Surveyor license (or capable of becoming licensed in state or employment within 1 year of employment) is required -Fluent with Trimble equipment -Able to manage multiple projects and staff -Ability to learn and develop new skill sets -Considerable knowledge in property/ownership/documentation research, boundary law, writing legal descriptions, and preparing boundary surveys, plats, ALTA/NSPS surveys, terrestrial topographic maps, construction staking, and roadway right-of-way projects -Strong sense of urgency, with outstanding prioritization skills and professionalism -Precision and ability to perform QA/QC are critical -Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, MS Office. OPUS solution experience and point cloud exposure are a plus
