Tasks

-Review and/or drafting of technical specifications for O&G -Identify, collect, consolidate then resolve with consulting the PLE/PM, any need of clarification concerning the scope of supplies, services, documentation and technical guarantees due under the order, as well as the associated division of work. -On occasion, interact with other company technical guides, suppliers’ technical lead or project manager, representatives of certification 3rd parties -Discussions and preparation of written communications with the Client technical team (level of engagement to be agreed with PM and REPE manager with defined communication matrix) -Follow the Project Execution Process outlined in SE TI CP division, and integrate the Company's standard techniques for Quality and EHS management. -Review the technical requisitions issued for the main equipment and package modules, ensuring consistency across the project scope and checking that due consideration is given to the project technical specifics. -Participate in experience sharing and training sessions organized with other locations, functions, Project Managers and Project Lead Engineers -Timely prepare and obtain from Customer the technical concession requests, if any vital, and assist the PM to obtain their approval from Customer. -Closely engage on, and supervise design & implementation of any delivery critical item, unusual product feature and/or sophisticated requirements of the order. Formalize action plan with the team for timely delivery. -Develop regular and daily dialogues with project team members (Lead Engineers, design guides, technical specialists, Quality Control Engineer, Project Supervisor), in both face-to-face and virtual settings

What You Bring

-Familiar with the functional principles and the associated auxiliary systems of at least 2 / 4 of the following rotating machinery families: centrifugal compressor; reciprocating compressor; aeroderivative or industrial-type gas turbine; condensation or back-pressure steam turbine; mechanical drive with variable speed ratio (e.g. Vorecon by Voith); gas engines; other like pump or turbo-expander -At least 12+ years of proven experience with industrial equipment, services or projects, among which at least 4 / 10 years responsibilities in relation with rotating equipment for O&G industry in either of these functions: product or system engineering, design development -Experience/ Exposure to work with & interpretation of technical specifications of - world-class consultants/EPCs like: EIL / L&T / Linde / Air Liquid / Air Products / Worley / ADNOC / Saudi Aramco / Shell DEP etc. -Basic knowledge of PM @ Siemens, Product Safety, and other relevant Siemens processes -Successful team leadership or fellow coaching -Able to demonstrate practical basic understanding for at least 7 / 15, and detailed knowledge for at least 3 / 5 of the following areas: system instrumentation; unit control (logic); structural design; compressor process design, control, and/or dynamic simulation; piping and valving; package layout; application of materials, welding, and coating systems; rotor dynamics; aero-thermodynamic performance calculation; specification of couplings and gearboxes; vibration analysis; machinery trouble-shooting; any industry standard relevant for O&G markets (count 1 for each individual standard in libraries like: API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, EU Directives, IEC, CSA, NORSOK, NR, etc..) -Use of software: Teamcenter, NX, COMOS, Jira, MS Project, SAP, Doc Manager -Thorough knowledge of consultant’s piping specifications with Valves, industrial piping design & fabrication.
