The Role
Overview
Support commercial ops for Aero gas turbine sales, process improvement, and proposal management.

Tasks
-Support the onboarding and training of new commercial tools and process improvements. -Support internal audits and documentation related to QMS compliance. -Participate in commercial and sales meetings (Risk Reviews) and take notes or follow-up actions when needed. -Participate in and support the implementation of Lean commercial process improvements, including standard work development, process mapping, continuous improvement reviews, eliminate rework in the OTR chain by analyzing risk mitigation and opportunities recovery. -Collaborate with cross functional teams (e.g. engineering, sales, product champions, finance, supply chain, project management) to streamline bid/tender process, quoting procedures, and contract reviews. -Help identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in commercial processes; support initiatives to improve throughput and accuracy using Lean tools and principles (e.g., value stream mapping, 5S, root cause analysis and Kaizen events). -Support the creation and maintenance of commercial dashboards, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to track customer opportunities, project status, and revenue targets (using SFCS (Sales Force.com)

-Strong financial management skills -Demonstrated leadership experience through either direct or indirect team management in matrixed organizations -Proven capability to work well in a matrix environment -Interest in sales/commercial leadership, experience in market economics, market challenges, technology, and projects, preferably in the power generation industry. -Strong project and contract management skills -Integrity: accepting and adhering to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others -Clear thinker with an ability to focus on the “critical few” issue/priorities with ability to translate strategy into business objectives -Assist with the day-to-day operations of the commercial teams for the Aeroderivative New Unit gas turbine proposals development process. Strong planning skills, influencing skills, and ability to induce cross functional teamwork are essential. -Fluent in written and spoken English -Strong interpersonal, influencing, and team building skills -Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship. -Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in engineering -Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding)
