Operate and maintain building systems, handle tenant requests, and oversee contractors.

Tasks

-Move and lift heavy equipment and supplies -Oversee contractors and ensure they abide by building guidelines -Operate Building Automation, Life safety, Company procurement programs and Security computer systems -Communicate with Operations Supervisor/Property Management on building and tenant issues -Oversee the appearance and safety of the property -Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and life safety systems and facilities -Maintain maintenance and daily logs of equipment; and -Contact Suppliers, obtain quotes, order materials/ Supplies -Complete tenant service calls such as changing lights, heating/cooling calls etc. in a professional manner -Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions/recommendations

What You Bring

-Able to work in confined spaces -Your computer and communications skills are above par. -You are proactive in finding problems and solving them; -You are familiar with safety and fire codes and WHMIS procedures; -Valid driver’s license. -5 years of experience in Building Operations; -Bending, twisting, crouching, climbing and reaching -You’ve gained your experience in a commercial/office/retail environment; -You completed/ enrolled in your Operator Class 5 I Certificate and working towards your 4th class certification;
