Tasks

-Delegate tasks effectively, considering team member’s strengths and project requirements. -Develop/implement/follow a robust QA/QC process to review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions when necessary. -Negotiate with clients and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project delivery within agreed parameters. -Develop detailed project plans to meet client/project requirements and deadlines. -Lead and motivate a team of engineers and modelers, fostering a collaborative environment to maximize productivity and morale. -Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural engineering and project management methodologies. -Manage the overall project lifecycle from inception through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. -Explore innovative solutions and technologies that can improve efficiency and outcomes of structural engineering projects. -Utilize advanced engineering tools and techniques to optimize project outcomes. -Encourage continuous learning and development within the team through workshops, courses, and professional certifications. -Whenever required participate in business development and client presentations. -Ensure compliance with both local and international building codes and regulations. -Provide technical guidance and oversight on the analysis, design, and delivery of structural engineering projects. -Understand and address client needs and expectations and provide regular updates on project progress. -As and when required as per client requirements conduct regular site visits in India during the construction phase of the project. Prepare site observation reports and share with client and contractor. -Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication. -Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and to address any technical or operational challenges.

What You Bring

-Candidates with experience in Structural steel, RCC and PT design shall be given preference. -Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading teams of engineers and modelers. -Candidates with a PhD in Structural Engineering with the required experience are also encouraged to apply. -A minimum of twelve years of core experience in structural engineering. -A Master's degree in Structural Engineering is required. -Proactive and well-organized, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
