Tasks

-Routinely utilize internal systems for project management, quality control, and quality assurance -Manage a variety of existing and potential wastewater facility projects -Develop project deliverables including coordination of engineering disciplines in a highly collaborative team environment -Negotiate and manage project scopes of work, schedules and budgets -Provide excellent client services with a focus on quality and timeliness -Operate as a subject matter expert in wastewater treatment design -Support office and firm leadership in marketing and pursuit of new work leads focusing primarily on wastewater municipal clients -Mentor and develop less experienced/junior engineering professionals, establishing growth opportunities and building project delivery teams -Interface with clients, state and federal agencies and subconsultants to pursue, win and execute wastewater projects -Identify and create project opportunities by networking with potential clients, including public and private utilities and related agencies -Solve complex problems, providing technical and economic feasibility evaluations, and identify/assess benefits and disadvantages of alternative solutions for wastewater clients

What You Bring

-Existing municipal/private engineering client relationships and/or the ability to develop and nurture such relationships -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word -Advanced degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Professional Engineering (P.E.) registration -Fifteen (15) + years of relevant experience in consulting engineering in the municipal wastewater treatment industry, with a progression of responsibility including project delivery and business development -Experience with alternative delivery projects -Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or related engineering field
