Tasks

-Implement best-practice asset management strategies to optimise long-term commercial and technical performance. -Lead and scale the Asset Management team, overseeing recruitment, development, and retention of personnel across multiple geographies. -Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations, grid codes, power purchase agreements, planning authority requirements, and internal company policies. -Ensure that operational learnings are effectively captured and integrated into business practices. -Actively contribute to Zenobe's commitment to health and safety, wellbeing and sustainability by; integrating these principles into daily responsibilities, ensuring a safe and supportive work environment, promoting both the physical and mental health of self and colleagues, and adopting sustainable and energy-efficient practices to minimize environmental impact. By doing so, each employee at Zenobe plays a vital role in fostering a culture that prioritises overall safety, holistic wellbeing, environmental sustainability in our business operations. -Identify and execute value-accretive initiatives to enhance asset profitability, presenting proposals to the Investment Committee. -Develop and manage business plans, budgets, and capital projects to enhance asset value. -Collaborate with legal and delivery teams on due diligence for acquisitions and disposals. -Manage and ensure both commercial and technical compliance with contracts, warranties, and regulatory frameworks. -Oversee stakeholder reporting, including timely and accurate reports for investors, lenders, and internal stakeholders. -Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, landowners, regulators, and other key stakeholders. -Establish and lead an Asset Maintenance team, defining and executing an effective O&M strategy to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency. -Ensure optimal contractor performance during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded. -Proactively manage portfolio risks, implementing mitigation strategies and reporting issues appropriately. -Lead the development and implementation of ISO 55000-based asset management frameworks.

What You Bring

-Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and implement strategies to optimise asset performance. -Chartered membership of the Institute of Asset Management. -Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. -Extensive experience in HSE best practices and regulatory compliance. -Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a complex, fast-paced environment. -Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail. -Over 10 years’ experience in asset management and O&M of battery energy storage or renewable energy assets. -Results-oriented, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making. -Strong stakeholder and contract management expertise. -Knowledge of the US and Australian energy markets. -A recognised Engineering Qualification at Degree level or equivalent financial/technical experience. -Strong understanding of UK grid codes, energy market regulations, and compliance requirements. -Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating technical insights into strategic actions. -Sound knowledge of project finance, including asset reporting requirements, financial covenants, and performance ratios. -Proven ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects and associated commercial agreements.
