Tasks

-Advises other offices on new procedures; requests information needed. -Involved in outreach activities with community service organizations. -May receive direction from corporate officers. -Prepares special or one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources. -Prepare proposals for project RFQ’s. This can be a significant portion of the duties. -Duties include or are comparable to the following: composes correspondence on own initiative about administrative matters; prepare materials needed by supervisor or staff for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc. -Uses judgment and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations. Interprets and adapts guidelines, including unwritten precedents and practices. -Provides administrative support to an office or multiple departments. -Organizes office events such as lunches, conference registrations and hotel reservations.

What You Bring

-Experience working in engineering preferred. -Experience working in Marketing/HR/Administrative Functions -High School Diploma or GED equivalent -Can work independently with minimal supervision. -Ability to take direction and express understanding of the directions received; and ability to report progress. -Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred. -Experience working with InDesign software.
